Remodel
As many of you already know Dan and I are currently remodeling our one and only bathroom. We are hoping to start looking for a new bigger home with some land and some out buildings so that I can have a studio and maybe we can have a little cash crop.So basically this is my sob page so please give me a little sympathy. =) Remodel started 1-04-06. Yes we have been without a shower or bathtub for that long. Thanks to mom and the YMCA we have avoided offending people but what a inconvience.
Just want to send some thanks out to Dad and Rachel for taking the kids for a few hours so we could concentrate just on the project. To Mom and Vic for letting us shower at the house and to Mark for helping us out even if we had to rehang a couple pieces of drywall. It will be all worth it in the end.
See that mess I dream nightly of it being completed. =)
More pics will come as the progress gets better if anyone who is checking this out wants to help by lending a hand or babysit please feel free to offer it up. We will be more than happy to take you up on that offer.
Middle stages of the remodel. Cleaned out the tub and the toilet had to come off several times. Glassblock window is great ejoying the privacy with the light comming through and no ugly shower curtian to cover it up.
We have made much progress still need to paint and frame and put the sink in. As you can see I was eager to put the shower curtain up so we could shower until. Hopefully I will be able to paint this weekend and we can then get the sink in. Then we will just have framing and storage to put in.
Remember this was all done by Dan with the help of our friend Mark and me. This was a major undertaking for us and DAMN we are good! Looks SHARP!
One more thing while I wss looking at this page I realized that the people advertising on this page are all bathroom remodeling sites. Cracks me up but very intresting to say the least.
